Why did you decide to become a personal trainer?

Ever since I was a child, I have always had a fascination of all things fitness, and I have always enjoyed giving fitness advice to both individuals and groups.

What excites you most about your work at Club Julian?

That I can help people make changes in their fitness levels and also their overall wellness.

What should someone expect when they train with you?  What do you expect from them?

People who I am training for the first time can expect me to truly listen to them and be non-judgmental.  And for me to be patient and treat them as an individual. Members who have been training with me for a while can expect to be challenged and can expect creativity in each session.   Moreover, I expect the people that I am training to take this seriously, to be patient with me, and to be patient with themselves.

What is your favorite type of workout to do personally?

Running, especially long-distance running.  I am a marathon pacer. I also like weight training, biking and swimming.

What is your favorite sport/sports team?

I like baseball and the Pirates.  To a lesser degree, football and hockey.
